Educational · Not investment advice

Markets, math, and decisions — without the hype.

A free platform for India, US, UK, and crypto markets. Live market dashboard. In-browser backtester. Working calculators. Open-source code. No tips, ever.

Why this exists

The internet has too much noise. We don't add to it.

No tip groups. No paid signals. No affiliate funnel. Just slow writing, working tools, and code you can read.

01

Slow, data-grounded essays

Every article is built around real numbers — 25 years of NIFTY, four BTC halvings, EPF/PPF math — not opinions dressed as analysis.

02

Tools that actually compute

SIP, step-up SIP, EMI, retirement, India tax, and live FX. Money-weighted math. No login. No upsells.

03

Open-source backtester

SMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger strategies on crypto and equities — runs in your browser, locally. Python source on GitHub.

FAQ

Common questions

Is everything really free?

Yes. No login, no paywall. The site is funded by Google AdSense — you'll see a small number of ads, never invasive ones.

Do you give buy / sell signals or stock tips?

Never. We publish educational essays, math-grounded calculators, and an open-source backtester so you can learn how markets and trading signals actually work.

Are you SEBI / SEC / FCA registered?

No. Epicenter Exchange is an educational platform, not a registered investment adviser, broker, or research analyst. Nothing on the site is investment advice.

Can I use the backtester for real trading?

No. The backtester is for learning how a signal is computed, not for live trading. Real markets add slippage, taxes, latency, and emotional pressure. Past results never guarantee future returns.

Where does the data come from?

Server-proxied Yahoo Finance for indices/stocks, CryptoCompare for crypto historical, CoinGecko for crypto spot. Refreshes roughly every 60 seconds.
